Schechter remains strong and effective due in large part to generous sustaining support from our families and the broader community. The Institutional Advancement department works to promote continued growth in this support through fundraising and marketing.

Only part of the school’s budget needs are covered by tuition, fees, state funding, and annual allocations from the Jewish Community Federation and Jewish Education Center of Cleveland cover only part of the school’s budget needs. The rest comes from unrestricted and restricted contributions from individuals, foundations, and corporations.

Institutional Advancement’s mission is to secure streams of revenue that bridge the gap between the income from tuition, endowment and our annual Federation allocation, and the the total cost of educating our students.
