Schechter remains strong and effective due in large part to generous sustaining support from our families and the broader community.   The department of Institutional Advancement works to promote continued growth in this support through fundraising and marketing.  Tuition, fees, state funding, and annual allocations from the Jewish Community Federation and Jewish Education Center of Cleveland cover only 86% of the school’s budget needs.  The rest comes from unrestricted and restricted contributions from individuals, foundations, and corporations.

Schechter offers you a number of giving opportunities that truly make a difference:

  1. Annual Fund

  2. Tributes & Endowments

  3. Rib Burn Off

The Annual Fundprovides crucial tuition assistance so that a day school education can be available to every Jewish child.  It also supplies essential funds for the general ongoing needs of the school, as well as program enhancements such as enriching the science program and strengthening technology.

Schechter’s Annual Fund is a critical piece of the school’s budget.   Your gift today to the Annual Fund will help sustain and strengthen the excellence of a Schechter education for over 333 students.  We hope you agree that a gift to Schechter is an investment well worth making.

Facts About Schechter:
